Last week we had a chance to head into TK Maxx and have a look at the kids section to see what was on offer.

Penny is heading back to school in two weeks, and doesn’t wear a uniform, so we focused on an outfit suitable for that.

Despite the warm summer, we know the weather could turn at any minute and TK Maxx was full of winter coats and raincoats. There were also loads of school bag and lunch box options and shelves of black shoes (cool ones, that even kids won’t mind wearing!) She couldn’t choose a new coat on the day, so I’m going get one delivered from the website next week.

Penny spotted this cardigan in one of her favourite colours, and we matched it with skinny jeans and a polo neck. I was really impressed with the savings we made when I looked at the RRP on the tags.

Although we didn’t buy these amazing white brogues during this shopping trip, we had bought them two weeks previously and they still have them in stock in loads of sizes.

I love how all the shelves are divided into age so you can zone in on the products you’re after, and then the age you need really easily…. Or if you’ve time, you can easily spend a couple of hours wandering the aisles of TK Maxx filling up your basket and saving yourself a fortune!

I couldn’t believe when I spotted a pair of leggings from one of my favourite brands and they were 75% off the RRP.

Perfect for Marnie and matched up really well with this cute tee.

When I got home I searched for that brand on the TK Maxx website and found loads more. For €35 I got seven more pieces – all in her size. Yayyy!

I’d definitely recommend checking out the website for brands you love.

Thanks so much to TK Maxx for asking us to take part in this collaboration. We were gifted a voucher to use and we spent €54 on the two outfits (excluding Penny’s shoes).
