Heyyyyyyy Mamas!

This is my first makeup review so I’m a bit nervous. So bear with me. So firstly, just to clarify, I’m by no means a make up artist. I won’t be giving you any eyebrow tutorials or tricks on perfecting your flick liner ( I need those tips myself!) I’m just testing out some products as in, I’m just using them and will let you know what I think.

I’ve been using the Penneys products for a few months now. They are all so cheap why would you not pick them up to try them. I was so happy I did though because I’m really liking them!

These foundation sticks were fun to use, as I’ve never used anything like that. I’d always use normal foundation out of a little tub. These sticks are really strong coverage I wouldn’t wear them for daytime, but for going out for drinks or dinner I definitely would! For daytime, I mixed some into my moisterizer and that worked perfect for me as I like a more natural and glowy look during the day and for work. I used the darker shade for a bit of contouring as well!

The concealer I thought was BRILLIANT! I’ve had so many deadlines recently and I’m defo not getting enough sleep and the bags under my eyes are actually humungus. You could hardly see them with this. Again it’s quite strong coverage which was ideal for those eye bags and to cover up blemishes.

Cannot fault these lip pencils whatsoever, even for the tiny price. They are gorgeous colours, really pigmented and match the lipsticks in the range. LOVED them!

The Contour & Sculpt contour kit is really cute, and for me perfect for daytime. The shades are quite soft which I like. I find with some palettes they are so strong and pigmented that I end up looking like soldier in camouflage. Since I’m not a pro contourer it’s been fun to experiement with it and I didn’t end up looking crazy. Which is nice. I’ve also been using them on my eyes and they are gorge as eye shadows!!

Here is a little video so you can see the highlighter. It’s quite lovely.

I really liked this Moisturising Skin Oil. It reminds me of the oils I used to use on my belly when I was pregnant. It feels lovely on the skin and smells really good. I used it on my nails too as I thought the natural oils with vitamin E would be good for them and I really feel like it helped them. My only complaint is that I left it on my desk and overnight the lovely orange colour faded completely!

Last but definitely not least, my FAVOURITE products from the range are these matte long last lipsticks! LOVE LOVE LOVE them! I’m a huge lipstick fan anyway so I’m quite picky. I like my lipsticks to be really pigmented and long lasting. These are both. The colours are so vibrant  I don’t think they have a shade name, but the brownie one is a shade I’d never worn before and I LOVE it!! I wore it to work and it lasted almost the whole day, I only reapplied it once!

I took a few pics to show you what all the makeup looks like. In the pics I’m wearing all the products  (should’ve done my hair, sorry!) The only things which aren’t Penneys products are my brows and mascara (only because I don’t have them) But I am definitely off to purchase Penneys mascara and eyebrow products to see if they are as good as everything else! Let us know in comments if you’ve used this range and what you think of it!
