Leon was so lucky to have been asked to review a toy for Mattel. I chose this one for him, so that Santa wouldn’t have to get it. Because if we weren’t reviewing it, it would DEFO have ended up on his list as it is AMAZING.

Fisher-Price Imaginext Super-Flight Gotham City

We are already big fans of the Fisher Price Imaginext series. Leon has a firestation (here) which he’s had since he was a baby and he STILL loves it, and its still one of his favourite toys. So they definitely last.

Leon could not believe his eyes when this was waiting for him in front of the tree when he woke up. Christmas came early for this lucky boy as just the night before he was flicking through the Smyths cataloge (as a 4 year old would) and said ‘WOW wouldn’t this be soooo cool to have one day’

I love seeing their imagination during play, Leon was in full on game mode and connected his fire station to Gotham City for a really indepth scenario. (it went over my head)

The best part was putting the characters into the flight pack and watch them fly over Gotham City. The Power Pad works like a remote. When you put a character in it and turn it, it makes the flight pack take off. It doesn’t even need to be connected. We had Batman in the kitchen and were able to fly him from the living room. Leon was very impressed by that.

The Joker has an elevator and a ‘pie launcher’ that can launch 4 pies in a row. It also lights up and makes a bit of noise, but nothing too annoying.

This takes 4 AA batteries although I kind of wish it took more as the following day we already needed to change them. Leon did play with it all day long so I do recommend to get yourself some recharchable batteries for it.
