If you’ve had a baby, given a gift to a baby, or been a baby in the last 50+ years, chances are you have had a Sophie la Girafe toy. Made to be the perfect shape and size for a small teething baby, its the toy most parents have in their handbags for out and about.
What you may not know though, is that there is a wonderful range of cosmetics, creams and lotions available in this range too. Sophie la Girafe products are all 100% natural and organic.
2.5 year old Penny was the tester of these products for the month of January. Sooby, her mum (a little older than mid twenties, a little younger than mid thirties !!!) also used them a few times a week during the month.
Hair and Body Wash
We started using this on Christmas Eve, as Penn prepared to be all clean and shiny for new Christmas pjs. It had a lovely light scent and felt gentle and soothing during bath time. Penn often has quite unruly hair, but this seemed to help her hair from getting tangled and left it with a lovely clean shine
This product is just lovely. Penny has been a fan of baby massage since she was a tiny little thing, and this body lotion, with its essential oils, was perfect for the bedtime ritual of a calming massage. Her baby skin was left as soft as can be, with no residue. I used this a few times too, after my shower, and found it easy to apply and rub in. It definitely made a difference to my dry skin, that I seem to get on my legs in the winter months.
This was our favourite of the three products. I discovered quickly that the face cream is an AMAZING primer for underneath my make up. My skin was smooth and soft and my foundation just glided on effortlessly afterwards. Penny, who loves to be just like me, called this cream her make up and would have a blob on each hand, and rub it into her little cheeks every morning!
I’m delighted to have been asked to review these products. They lived up to all the things the Sophie la Girafe website says about them, and more. We’ll be buying these products again, and maybe an extra face cream for my make up bag… a toddler version of ‘just enough in each hand’ is a bigger amount than I’m willing to share!
